Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Tosun Prof. Tosun was born in Konya in 1969. He has graduated from Ege University Medical Faculty /Izmir in 1993, completed his residency in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgery Clinic of Selcuk University Medical Faculty. Dr Tosun has worked at Mayo Clinic /Minnesota USA in 2002 for 6 months. He worked as assistant professor in Selcuk University and associate professor through 2009.

He has been working as head of the Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic of Selcuk University Hospital since 2009. He still performs his surgical procedures at the same hospital.

Prof. Tosun is one of the establishers of Turkish Society of cleft Lip and palate and member of executive committee. He is also a member of Turkish Society of Plastic Surgeons. Prof. Tosun is a member surgeon of  International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). ISAPS is the world's leading professional body for board-certified aesthetic plastic surgeons.

He has been working on stem cell based treatments for the past  15 years.
